Bring The Boys Back Home
bring the boys back home
bring the boys back home
don't leave the children on their own
bring the boys back home

The next morning, the 'teachers' of The Company come with the Worm garrison basically to steal children from the workers (reminiscent of the Aboriginal Stolen Generation) and graft them onto The Company. Zac and Taylor are taken, and Walker, trying to protect his family, is shot. From here basically follow through on the three brothers' fates. Isaac stays with the slave unit and watches his father die – swears he'll avenge his death; has to take over as head of the family. Zac is placed directly into the first division of The Company (here to show the main workings and operations of TC), but is very disturbed by his abduction and what he sees as forced indoctrination. Taylor is judged not appropriate TC material, and is taken to Sovereign Floyd, who decides what happens to the children who aren't suitable for The Company. Most are sent as servants to work on menial tasks within The Company building. But when Taylor comes into the room, Cortnée is struck by him, and finds the strength to suppress Pink. Taylor's suspicions are proved, the Sovereign has a split personality. Cortnée keeps Taylor with him as much as possible and ends up falling for him (Pink can't operate in this area because he basically is there to combat the distraction of Cortnée's loving a woman [as implanted by Bartholomew], not a young man. Tay is actually the one who helps Cortnée psychoanalyse Pink, although they can't do anything to stop him). Taylor doesn't fall for Cortnée, but he feels overwhelmingly sympathetic and compassionate towards the man and will do whatever he can to help Cortnée battle Pink, even if it means a few hugs, and sleeping beside the Sovereign's of a night – something one would do for a friend; whilst it is Cortnée who essentially owns Taylor, it's Tay who has the control.

Cortnée = 26; Isaac = 21; Taylor = 18; Zac = 16
