Outside The Wall
all alone, or in twos
the ones who really love You
walk up and down
outside the wall
some hand-in-hand
and some gathered together in bands
the bleeding hearts and the artists
make their stand
and when they've given You their all
some stagger and fall
after all it's not easy
banging your heart against some mad bugger's Wall

For his 'crimes against humanity', Cortnée Floyd is hanged on top of the rubble that was his Wall, his corpse blowing gently in the breeze.
Back to Ike as an old man, he summarises basically by telling them that the Worms took over and they've been on the run ever since. One asks if his grandpa is the same Zac, and Ike answers yes, mentally commenting that even now Zac refuses to talk about Floyd and the Wall, anything before their life on the run. One then asks what happened to Taylor. Ike remembers the last conversation he had with his brother, who never came back from burying Cortnée Floyd's body. To save himself and the kid the pain, Ike says he doesn't know, Taylor didn't come with their group when they fled. The first kid's dad comes out and gathers the kids back into their temporary cave shelter. Zac's grandson then tells his dad about the story grandpa Isaac told them. Once the kids are inside, Zac's son patronisingly chastises his Uncle Ike for scaring the kids with his fantasies. Ike simmers for a bit as Zac's son goes inside, but then lets it go, kicks out the fire and makes his way inside the cave for the night.
