What's new?

September 5th, 2006:  After a long wait and couple of missteps with new moderators and people to help out with the site...  I've finally updated the new page!! So, go and check it out. 

The madness

Wow…what a long, strange trip it’s been.  Hanfic started in ’97 right along with Hanson.  I’m sure there were plenty of stories that could claim the title of first, but I can only go by what I know.  The first to make a splash was probably “Tulsa 74312”—a classic.  And off it went.  “Walls” and “Roads” opened the doors for those angsty Hansons we’ve all come to know and love (well, everyone except those three boys/men from Oklahoma who get drug through every known malady and situation there is). “The Yellow Walkie Talkie/Taylight Zone” opened the doors to just about anything you could dream of, and boy do people dream! There are love stories galore.  Science Fiction.  Horror.  Suspense. The list goes on and on.  New stories will also be here, submit your links!

Here’s the Disclaimer for this site.  We don’t know the authors of these stories.  We don’t vouch for content—many of these stories may have swearing, sex, drugs, mature situations, violence, mushy kissing, girls moving in next door, etc etc.  If you can’t take the chance on that, don’t open.  Read the authors disclaimers.  It should go without saying, that these stories are fiction.  We don’t know Hanson, and if we did, we would die before we would let them see these things we write.

Also, the quality of writing:  we have no control over that, and we don’t care to.  Everybody has to start somewhere, and a long time ago, a lot of people started out with Hanson.  Don’t diss them because their story sucks.  Smile and move on.  Besides, a lot of these stories, their writers have moved on and they probably don’t even know they’re still floating around out here.  So cut’ em some slack.

On the other hand, you may find some amazing stuff here.  It was such a walk down memory lane to go through all of these links (and tedious, thank you).  Some of the most talented writers have taken on the lives and loves of Isaac, Taylor, and Zac.  And sadly, some of them have gone MIA on us.  They’re links were broken and the stories were gone.  If you have links to old stories that were great and you don’t see them here, please submit them.  On the other hand, if you see your story here and it embarrasses the hell out of you to know anyone might read it again, let us know and we’ll take it down.

The method

Each link on this site, with few exceptions, will lead you to one site out there in the etherworld that is the world wide web. They are arranged in what, with some imagination, could be considered alphabetical order.  If you wish your site to be listed here, please first check and make sure it hasn't already been included, and then email your URL and page title to Krystal & Stephanie. Once this is done, we ask only that you post a link back to this page.
