Comedic Genius.
Dude, this story cracked me up.
It was fabulous. For anyone who loved Bridget Jones's Diary, the book or the
movie, go and read this story. The author is American, but tried her best to use
English words and such and pulls it off fairly well.
It's written in a diary style, with really great, comedic commentary in the
Bridget Jones style. (Something like, "8.00, woke up with face on kitchen
floor, tile now imprinted in cheek" is the first line, so great!)
The overall summary of the story is, English Bridget Jones type girl in her
early twenties lives in England attending classes and working as a waitress. Has
one gorgeous friend and one gay friend and a rich boyfriend who has just
proposed, but things, of course, go spectacularly wrong in her life, just as her
mother calls from America to tell her she's marrying a weathly American.
Said wealthy American happens to have a large extended family - his sister is
Diana Hanson...
This is such a wonderful, feel good story, with lovely comedy and very good
characterisation, especially Isaac and Zac. Check it out!
